My bipolar symptoms have been surfacing a bit this week, nothing to be overly concerned about, but enough to make the days more challenging than they should be. A wagtail wander was definitely going to be a good distraction!
Kath planned to do her evening run from Caldbeck village, so I decided it would help clear my head if I took a walk along the beck in the village whilst Kath ran.
The car park was full of bird song, with Chaffinch, Blackcap, Common Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler all noted. There was a Pied Wagtail catching insects on the beck, presumably feeding young nearby.

A White-throated Dipper put in an appearance a couple of times, but always too quick for my camera. They are always exciting to see though.

A smart male Chaffinch perched up and allowed me to photograph it as I returned the carpark. It had been a nice wander and definitely allowed my brain to breath!
